As an Assembly, we are devoted to Divine Mercy, St Maria Faustina, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the many other programs that support Divine Mercy. We have tried to “capture” the essence of the simple message in the boxes above. For more information, visit www.ewtn.com/devotionals/mercy.
The Assembly is a group of Knight Councils.
Organized slightly differently than local councils, Fourth Degree Assemblies bring together many (in our case 6 local councils) councils to form the Assembly.
Each assembly is led by a “Faithful Navigator.” Other elected assembly officers include the Captain, Admiral, Pilot, Scribe, Purser, Comptroller, Sentinels and Trustees. A Friar and Color Corps Commander are appointed by the Navigator.
Assembly officers are properly addressed by using the title "faithful" (e.g. Faithful Navigator). Assemblies are numbered in the order in which they chartered into the Order and are named by the local membership.
Our Divine Mercy Assembly 2771 is composed of Sir Knights from the following Councils: Click Here To View

Are you up to the 4th Degree Challenge?
The classic definition of a “Patriot” is a “person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion” and by implication we would add “and with actions.”
So our challenge to you is this . . . to live each day with a passion to make your community and your country a better place to live and to act in a manner that helps governments at all levels enact policies that support the corporal and spiritual acts of mercy to which we are so deeply devoted.
Throughout our country’s history, Catholic Americans have demonstrated both the devotion and the actions necessary to be called patriots. It is sad that the Knights of Columbus felt compelled to add the “Patriotic Degree” to combat what was perceived as a lack of love for America and yet it has afforded us the opportunity to shine in an otherwise jaded world.
Patriotism requires both fervor and knowledge. The fervor comes from within (do you get misty eyed when you hear the Star Spangled Banner or taps played over the stillness of a cemetery?) whereas the knowledge is imparted to us by others. What our country stands for and the means by which we strive to achieve our goals is something that every American should know, but sadly many do not.

The most recognized contingent of Knights
The Honor and Color Guards are detailed to special occasions & the color corps can be seen out wearing the very colorful regalia.Official dress for the Color Corps is a black tuxedo, a baldric, white gloves, cape and naval chapeau. The baldrics are worn from the right shoulder to left hip and are color specific by nation – here in the United States our baldrics are red, white and blue.
The colors on a Fourth Degree Knight denote the office he holds within the Degree. Faithful Navigators and Past Faithful Navigators carry a white handled silver sword. Masters and Vice Supreme Masters, Former Masters and Former Vice Supreme Masters, are denoted by gold swords.
In addition, the colors on the cape denote rank or position:
- Red is for all members
- Purple is for Color Corps Commanders
- White is for Faithful Navigators (leaders of an Assembly)
- Gold is worn by District Masters
- Green is the color of the District Master’s Marshall
- Light Blue is the color of the Vice Supreme Master
- Dark Blue is the color of the Supreme Master
The Color Corps is open to all Fourth Degree Knights.
More than just playing “dress up. . .”
The ceremonial honor and color guards provided by the Knights impart a very special solemnity to any occasion where they are present.
- As defenders of the Church and the priests who serve her, we have all seen the Knights in full regalia kneeling before the alter during a solemn Mass.
- As devout patriots we have seen Knights march and honor the war dead during Memorial Day ceremonies at national cemeteries.
- As united Brothers in a fraternal organization we honor and support fellow Brothers and their families at weddings and funerals.
So while children ponder whether we are “pirates” with our plumes and swords it is from a deep sense of honor and spirituality that we "dress up" for special occasions.
